Started with a Nikon 4500, which was OK, but very small viewfinder and what seemed like 2 hours between pressing the shutter and the photo being taken.

In 2005 I bought a Sony Cybershot W7 7 million pixels, which has produced some excellent results for a small compact.

Summer of 2006, I changed to a Nikon 8800, which I am still trying to get my head round. So many buttons and modes...

If only you could buy a couple of hundred quids worth of patience to go with your camera, I would be a lot better!!!
